Released version 2.1.2 of the IRC Network Monitor. This version has many added features and a few bugs fixed. Most notably:
  • Spamfilters list, part of the Network Bans window.
  • A crash when processing SETHOST.
  • Sorting the channels list by users now works properly.
  • The ability to connect to a hostname instead of just IP addresses.

  • Some helpful appearance changes.
  • SVSKILL was not parsed properly, resulting in duplicate users in the users list.
  • List columns may now be reordered with by dragging.
  • Send a PING to the connected server if nothing has been received for over 2 minutes.

  • Windows can now be closed.
  • Can copy user and channel information using the pop-up menu.
  • Added the ability to make windows desktop windows instead of being contained inside the MDI window.

  • Fixed a potential (non-exploitable) crash.

Released my IRC Network Monitor, and replaced the no longer used "Windows Modules" link with a link to the network monitor page. Also, final cleanup for any remaining fragments of pre-compiled windows things (pages, downloads, links, etc).

New versions of m_defaultlist, m_netadminsonly, m_nobots, and m_securequery with minor code changes. I added a section on the Resources page for BOPM, including external links to installation instructions and working download. Also updated the donate banner.

A new module has been added, m_netadminsonly to restrict a channel to NetAdmin-level opers (+W). I have updated the FAQ to reflect the new module's mode.

Added FAQ item Is there a list of what modes and commands modules give?. Also updated the m_nobots module. The latest version is 1.2.3, which fixes some minor issues and marks the module as permanent. This module has been lightly tested and works fine on a single server.

Added module m_nobots to the modules list. This module is currently experimental and provides channel mode +B to block joins from users with usermode +B.

Re-did licensing on all my modules. They are now all released under the GNU Affero General Public Licemce, before they were just free use with no warranty. For details about this license, see the comments at the beginning of the module source files, or read the GNU Website.

Happy New Year!
Updated a couple modules:
  • m_restrictrehash: Found a crash where rehash was allowed (oops). The fix to this was to make the module a permanent module.
  • m_securequery: Send a notice to the user trying to set +Z if the user is not permitted (as in not using SSL).
Along with updating the modules I have updated the Donate page and added a Contact page.

I have redone the modules page to fit into this site's template. Along with this page I have announced that I will be no longer providing Windows DLLs without donation to cover the time it takes to compile Unreal, then compile and upload the modules.
